Paris Review Mary Karr Interview

Mary Karr is interviewed in The Paris Review. By the way, if you are a writer or aspirant, the Paris Review interviews are essential reading.
Karr says, “A priest once asked me a very smart question, which I’ve yet to answer, or have only answered in small increments: What would you write if you weren’t afraid?”
That seems to me to be the fundamental question about writing, or indeed any creative endeavor. What would you do/make if you weren’t afraid?
